Product Overview
This wheel tip assembly is designed to fit and fasten onto the steel roller of Caterpillar compactors. The whole kit is forged from high-strength wear-resistant alloy material, capable of enduring severe abrasive environments during soil compaction and landfill filling work. It provides steady traction and balanced running stability for compactors while rolling over various ground surfaces.
Key Features
Strictly manufactured following OEM technical standards, with minimum surface hardness of Br2.55 and base hardness Br2.7 under 20 DP, outstanding anti-abrasion performance ensures long service life and stable working performance.
Preheat the entire welding zone to 175°C – 250°C before welding installation, which can greatly reduce the risk of weld cracking and extend the service cycle of wheel tips.
Application Range
Install the complete wheel tip assembly on compactor steel drums to disperse overload mechanical stress of the machine. It performs excellently when working on sticky cohesive soil with high moisture content, widely applied for single drum vibratory compactors and landfill compactors of Caterpillar series.
