A scarifier is a passive traction device that is generally installed on the rear frame of self-propelled machinery such as graders, bulldozers, or tractors. There are currently two main types of scarifiers on the market, one is a simple rocker mechanism, and the other is a parallelogram mechanism.

The scarifier mainly consists of the main body, oil cylinder, hydraulic pipeline, etc. During work, under the traction of the main engine and the action of the hydraulic cylinder, the loosening teeth gradually press down to a certain depth below the ground, and then move forward with the main engine to loosen the soil. At the end of work, the loosening teeth are lifted off the ground through the oil cylinder.
